Our mission is to represent Syrian culture and heritage in Washington State through activities and events. The Syrian Heritage Club offers a platform to bring local Syrian-Americans together. We all work according to our expertise and availability and respect those who prefer to remain anonymous.

Syrian Heritage Club is an entirely volunteer-run NGO, but we still have operational costs to cover and projects to fund. You can help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission.

The Umayyad Mosque (Arabic: الجامع الأموي), also known as the Great Mosque of Damascus (Arabic: جامع بني أمية الكبير, Romanization: Ğāmi' Banī 'Umayya al-Kabīr), located in the old city of Damascus, is one of the largest and oldest mosques in the world.

Designers: Prof. Dr. (Architecture) Abdo Kass-Hout and Prof. Mahmoud Hammad The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Arabic: ضريح الجندي المجهول) in Damascus Syria is a war memorial, dedicated to the Syrian soldiers killed during battle. The tomb is visited every year by the President on Martyr's Day (May 6). And it has the engravings of two verses from the Qur'an: "Think not of those who are slain in Allah's Way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the Presence of their Lord"
